Henry Clay Iron Furnace 1830 Abandoned Furnace

Welcome to North Central! Today were going too check out the Henry Clay Iron Furnace located in WV Coopers Rock State Park. the Furnace was built in the 1830's and was in operation almost 24 hours a day. It produced around 4 lbs of pig iron in a day, and was the center of the community. the furnace employed around 200 people to keep it running smoothly, but was finally closed down in 1847. Im hopping that somewhere in these hills is some kind of remains from yesterday. Guess we had better get started.
