Woman unable to crack soft egg mystery

Elizabeth Quilty from Waikato in New Zealand keeps chickens. One of them is always laying eggs without shells. Despite this particular bird's healthy diet, it keeps producing soft eggs, literally! Elizabeth has no explanation for the anomaly.
