Police: 2 kids die following crash near Maryland Parkway, Twain

Police say two kids have died after being hit by a car while crossing the street near Maryland Parkway and Katie Avenue (near Twain Avenue). Police say the driver drove up on the sidewalk and was taken to the hospital. The cause of the crash remains under investigation but police say officers believe impairment was a factor.
