Trainees with the Bakersfield Police Department heard from community members from different industries, cultures and community groups as part of their community policing training. 23ABC's Jessica Harrington spoke to them about the relationship between the police and the media. Some of the trainees even got to play spokesperson for the day with mock interview about real-life incidents.
