Inviting All of Wisconsin to Chalk the State!
The Museum of Wisconsin Art (MOWA) is truly a gem in our state to discover the incredible talent of local artist. They usually host a fun and family friendly Chalk Art Festival every year, but due to the pandemic that couldn't quite happen this year. But that's not stopping MOWA! Joining us to discuss "Chalk the State" and how you can get involved with this two day statewide event is Laurie Winters, Executive Director and CEO of MOWA. Take to the sidewalks and driveways on July 25 and 26 to create vibrant chalk art and share on social media using the hashtag #ChalkTheState. West bend residents can pick up a free summer swag bag at MOWA on Saturday and Sunday July 25-26. Sponsored by Meijer, the bags include sidewalk chalk, an activity guide, and other items to use while chalking. First come first served, while supplies last.
