How To Tell If Your Car's Water Pump Is Going Bad

July 18, 2020- Here are 5 know facts for anyone that will explain in detail signs that your car's "Water Pump" is going bad:

1. Overheating- Look for "Puddles" or "Occasional Smoke".
2. "Weep Hole" is leaking, look for leaks.
3. On and off noise coming from the "Bearing Housing", not the alternator, or belts.
4. Seized Water Pump...water pump gradually going out.
5. Water Pump working fine but bearings going bad.

Some businesses will sell you a part, like on ebay or amazon, etc and tell you it is a new part, but it might be just a remanufactured or cheap part. Check the price, if it's to cheap and doesn't match up....beware!
