Scuba diver meets strikingly beautiful Harlequin Sweetlips on the coral reef

The Harlequin Sweetlips is a fish that its remarkably beautiful with its vivid colour and striking spotted pattern. It is known by many names; Many Spotted Sweetlips, Clown Sweetlips, and the Clown Grunt.The most amusing of its names is Spotted Blubberlips. It is often described as the fish with the botox lips due to its large and pouty looking mouth.
The Sweetlips stands out when seen, even from afar and it makes a wonderful photographic subject for scuba divers.
These divers were exploring the reefs in Papua New Guinea when they came across this large specimen under a coral ledge. They often seek shelter during the day and come out at night to hunt for fish and crustaceans. The fish and corals in Papua New Guinea are beyond beautiful and the clarity of the water provides one of the top ten diving destinations in the world. The corals and reefs are stunning and the water is warm and inviting. Few sports provide such opportunities for exploration as scuba diving.
