Actress and activist Emma Watson has joined the board of directors at Kering.
Kerin is the luxury goods group that owns Gucci, Saint Laurent, and many other brands.
Watson is well-known in the fashion industry and advocates for sustainability in fashion.
Kering launched a sustainability program in 2017 to reduce its environmental footprint by 40% before 2025.
Sustainability is an area of focus for the company. In 2019, it generated $17.9 billion in revenue.
