Explore Six Miles of Habitat Conservancy and Restoration
4 years ago

As warm weather finally returns to Wisconsin, a simple walk out in nature can be the perfect getaway from life around us. Luckily, there’s a not-so-far-away place meant for healing and restoration. The Mequon Nature Preserve sits on 444 acres and 6 miles of trails in developing forests, wetlands, prairies and agricultural fields – open year-round! Kristin Gies with the Mequon Nature Preserve shares how they blend together all of Wisconsin’s ecosystems and create an environment where the land can heal itself. And you can visit for FREE! The trails at the Mequon Nature Preserve are open from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year. For more information, visit MequonNaturePreserve.org.
