Governor asking for flood disaster aid

Governor Gretchen Whitmer provied an update on the state's response to the historic mid-Michigan flooding. The governor spoke at Meridian Elementary School in Sanford. She said that within the week, she will send a letter asking the federal government for a major disaster declaration. After her update, Whitmer volunteered at the flood relief donation distribution center.
