Tonight, some showers and storms are possible, especially farther west of the Fox Valley. Temperatures will fall into the lower 60s with a light southeast wind at 5 mph. Memorial Day, expect the warmest temperatures of the holiday weekend. We will rise into the low/mid 80s with some isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Dew points will be in the lower 70s making it quite humid out. Southwest winds may help a little, around 5 to 15 mph. A marginal risk of severe weather is highlighted north and northwest of the Fox Valley. Some of the storms may produce small hail. A chance of isolated to scattered thunderstorms will continue Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s. The reason due to this continued risk of storms lays with a strong blocking high pressure over the Atlantic. This high is causing a ripple effect on storm systems moving through the Midwest, slowing their progression. Eventually this block will degrade and by Thursday evening, we will end the risk for storms. Temperatures will fall into the lower 70s Friday with mostly sunny skies. Some cooler air funnels in on the weekend with highs in the upper 60s Saturday and lower 70s Sunday
