DA's office says complaints about price gouging have dropped since pandemic began

The Kern County District Attorney's Office says they have received 86 total price gouging complaints since the pandemic began. Officials say not ever complaint was able to be determined as price gouging. Officials said of the 86 complaints more than two dozen stores were given warning letters and educational materials. No criminal charges have been filed.
