A National Day of Hope for Those Struggling with Mental Illness
4 years ago
11
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, so we’re joined by some team captains of National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Greater Milwaukee to hear about an important event coming up later this month. Doris Kloth and Emily Washcovick tell us about the NAMI Walks Your Way Great Milwaukee event on Saturday, May 30. Doris shares her own personal story and what kind of impact this has had on her family’s life. Though this annual walk will be virtual, NAMI's mission and need for funds is still very real! To register as a virtual participant or donate, visit NamiWalks.org.
