THIS DEDICATED father of two is proving that anything is possible – by following a strict workout routine despite missing parts of both his arms and legs. 40-year-old, Ryan Hudson-Peralta, was born with Congenital Limb Deficiency; a rare condition that resulted in his legs being shortened and having small arms without hands. Standing at just 3ft 6” tall, the loving father and husband has never let his condition get in his way and he is now performing specific daily workouts to help maintain an active lifestyle with his condition. Aiming to prove that anything is possible if you set your mind to it, Ryan wants to inspire others to try their best to stay healthy – no matter the circumstances. Residing in Michigan, Ryan is currently making the most of his basement gym; bouncing on a mini trampoline for cardio, pumping weights for his core strength and stretching exercise bands for his shoulders. Ryan told Truly: “I exercise at least every other day – sometimes, it’s every day. Because I sit all day, it’s tough for me to lose weight. It’s really important that I stay active. My goal is to show people how I work out and maybe inspire some people who think they can’t do it themselves.” Ryan usually aims to do 14-15 minutes on the trampoline, seven to 10 minutes on the bands and 14-15 minutes working on his abs. The part-time motivational speaker is constantly building his future; now planning to write a children’s book, go travelling and mentor other families who live with his condition, all around the world.
