Oakland County may have to use ice arena as a morgue, but only as a last resort

It's a terrible thought, but ice arenas in metro Detroit could play an important role if hospitals run out of space to store bodies. The Oakland County Medical Examiner says it has brought in two big refrigerated trucks for extra storage capacity. But if that's not enough, they could turn to the ice arenas.
