Two consecutive days of record breaking rainfall in Bakersfield.

On Tuesday April 7th, Bakersfield received 0.91" of rain, beating the previous record of 0.59" set back in 1967. On Wednesday April 8th, Bakersfield received 0.62" of rain which passed the previous record of 0.61" set in 1945. Since Sunday, Bakersfield has recorded 2.50" of rain. So far this water year, Bakersfield's rain totals are over 100% of normal to date.
