NBC26 Storm Shield Forecast
Skies will turn sunny by the afternoon with temperatures climbing into the mid and upper 30s. Winds will diminish significantly by the afternoon, initially around 15-20 mph in the early morning turning to around 2-5 mph out of the north. Tonight, Mostly clear skies and light and variable winds will drop temperatures into the upper teens and lower 20s. We climb into the mid and upper 40s for your Saturday under mostly sunny skies and a light breeze out of the south at 10 to 15 mph. Sunday will be the warmest day for the week with highs getting into the mid 50s, coupled with a stronger sun this time of year, it will feel even warmer during the afternoon thanks to sunny skies. A chance of rain welcomes us Monday, there have been some signs of this storm shifting further to the south so we may end up missing out completely...something to monitor in the meantime. Highs will be in the upper 40s. We will cool off to the lower 40s Tuesday and Wednesday.
