An area mother is stressing gun safety and responsibility after her daughter was almost shot in her car. Jamie Lingner was driving south on U.S. 169 Highway around 5:30 p.m. Sunday in Spring Hill, taking her daughter and a friend home from soccer when they heard a loud noise – like something hit her SUV.
