A Guinness World Record holder for enduring extreme icy conditions has completed a 250-mile cycling journey through the Siberian wilderness over four days in temperatures as low as minus 60 degrees Celsius.
Valerjan Romanovski, 44, the holder of several Guinness World Records for his endurance, was accompanied by Piotr Marczewski who walked over 150 kilometres (93 miles) as part of the project ‘Oswajamy Zywioly’ (‘Taming the Elements’), according to local media.
In 2019, Romanovski reportedly broke the world record for the longest period of time spent in minus 100 degree Celsius temperatures after standing in a special chamber for over six hours.
