Fighting against toxic air contaminants in Shafter

In response to Assembly Bill 617, the California Air Resources Board established the Community Emissions Reduction Program to reduce emissions and toxic pollutants in disadvantaged communities. Shafter and South Central Fresno are the first Valley cities chosen to act on the quality of air.
