Michael Fish's NBC 26 weather forecast
We have a system on the way that looks to bring mainly snow, though a few raindrops may mix in to the SE. Most of this is going to start slowly through the afternoon and continue into the evening commute. By the end of the daytime hours, we could have 1" or so on the ground. Snow will continue through the evening commute with some lingering snow showers carrying over into the early overnight. Event totals look to be 2-4". Temperatures will fall into the lower- to mid-20s. Skies will gradually clear very late tonight. Tuesday will be a mostly sunny and cooler day with highs struggling to make it to 30. Then some reinforcing cold air will arrive Wednesday and Thursday with highs back in the mid teens. Friday into the weekend, we get back into the 30s and possibly breaking 40 by the end of the weekend.
