Police investigating the disappearance of a young mother 29 years ago are searching a stretch of CANAL after receiving new information.
Nicola Payne went missing after leaving her seven-month-old son Owen with her boyfriend at his home to visit her mum and dad who lived a five-minute walk away.
She was 18 when she vanished in thick fog while walking across wasteland known as the Black Pad in Coventry, at around midday on December 14, 1991.
Despite numerous searches of properties, wasteland and woodland over the years no trace of her body has ever been found.
