The Corgi Pembroke Wales is a cattle breed originated from Pembrokeshire, Wales; it is one of two breeds known collectively as the Corgi Dog of Wales. The other is the Corgi Cardigan and both have ancestors of the Arctic-tailed dog breed (for example, including the Siberian Husky). Another theory is that the Pembroke has an ancestor from the Vallhund Sweden, crossed with a Welsh shepherd. Corgi Pembroke Wales is a descendant of two Corgi breeds and is a separate and special breed from the Cardigan breed.
