Beautiful deer in the midst of a brutal winter

These deer in Northern Minnesota have made it through hunting season, but must still continue to survive in the harshest conditions. Temperatures can get below -30F but deer have a durable coat that helps shelter them from the bitter cold. Their metabolism also drops in the winter so they can survive with less food. Spring is just around the corner and it can’t come soon enough for these beautiful creatures.
