NBC26 Storm Shield Forecast

Saturday was the 16th consecutive day with above normal temps!! The warm streak will continue. A strong area of low pressure will pass to our north on Sunday producing some snow & gusty winds. Any accumulation would be minor if anything, though well north, there could be an inch or two. Strong westerly winds will develop on the backside of the system Sunday Afternoon & evening. Wind gusts will be between 30-40 mph. Colder weather returns by the middle of next week. It will actually feel like January, though still won't be a MAJOR polar blast by any means.
