A streak of above average temperatures begins today and so does a period of days to melt the snow pack. Highs will climb into the upper 30s today with partly to mostly cloudy skies and southeast winds around 5 to 10 mph. Tonight winds turn out of the southwest at 5 to 10 mph with lows in the mid 20s and clearing skies. We have a beautiful sunny weekend with highs in the upper 30s and lower 40s with light winds. We will start off next week in the lower 40s and partly cloudy skies. Heading towards Christmas, we will be cooling off slightly. Christmas ever currently has temperatures in the mid and upper 30s under mostly cloudy skies. On Christmas Day and the day after, there are some signs of a weak system that could bring some light rain and snow showers with temperatures in the lower to mid 30s. Right now this does not look like a concerning weather event by any means, but we will fine tune the details as we get closer in time.
