Sleepy Great Dane wakes up to howl at fire truck

When he's not snoring and running after rabbits in his sleep, Henry the Great Dane howls at pretty much everything - the doorbell, knocks on doors, and the gentle hum of the UPS or FedEx delivery truck coming up the driveway (perhaps with a treat?). What's he up to this time?

Today he howls along with a fire engine, crooning his utmost to his family who are watching and trying their best not to howl, too! He's a cute boy of six years old, and though greying, Henry is a gentle soul. He can also be an emotional dog, too, some of which he displays here. Just look at those ears!

The term Great Dane often brings to mind memories of the gangly and troublesome Marmaduke ruining his neighbor’s yard, or Shaggy’s clumsy canine companion helping solve a Scooby Doo mystery, cowering or devouring everything in sight! However, even though the Great Dane delivers a protective visual deterrent, this breed is actually very friendly and fantastic with kids. As they grow and grow, they live up to the attribute ‘the tallest dogs on the planet’. They're also fantastic apartment dwellers!
