Michael Fish's NBC26 weather forecast
Today should be relatively quiet with a patchy light wintry mix and highs in the mid- to upper-30s.. Friday will be another cloudy day with seasonable temps. A wintry mix or snow will develop Friday night, but especially Saturday afternoon as a strong winter storm heads our way. The wintry mix will continue across the area on Saturday before changing to snow at times Saturday night & Sunday. Right now, and this could change a bit, from around HWY 29 to HWY 10, 5-8" may fall, north of HWY 29, it looks like 8-12"+ will fall . It bears noting that one computer model still has this tracking farther north with more rain and less snow possible for Green Bay and the Fox Cities. We will also see strong NE winds creating blowing & drifting snow. The NE winds could also once again produce Lakeshore flooding. Stay tuned as the rain/snow line still could shift. Colder air moves for early next week with highs only in the 20s. Feeling like December should!!
