NBC26 Storm Shield Forecast
Thanksgiving was quiet & dry with highs in the low/mid-30s. Gobble Gobble!! A few flurries or some patchy light snow is possible overnight & Friday morning. Friday will be another cloudy day with seasonable temps. A wintry mix or snow will develop Friday night into Saturday morning as a strong winter storm heads our way. The wintry mix will continue across the area on Saturday before changing to snow Saturday night & Sunday. Heavy snow is likely across parts of the area......6-12" is possible where the heavy snow band sets up. We will also see strong NE winds creating blowing & drifting snow. The NE winds could also once again produce Lakeshore flooding. Stay tuned!! Colder air moves for early next week with highs only in the 20s. Feeling like December should!!
