Making the Holidays Brighter for Deserving Veterans
Everyone deserves a happy holiday, especially the heroes that served our country in the military. That's why one local veteran has made it his mission for over thirty years to deliver Christmas cheer to hospitalized veterans during the holiday season. Our pals, Jeff "Doc" Dentice and Wayne Cisewski, are back to discuss how you can help them and the 32nd Annual Christmas with the Vets VA Holiday Show! The 32nd Annual Christmas with the Vets VA Holiday Show is happening on Friday, December 14 at the Zablocki VA Medical Center. To help make the celebration brighter, Doc is asking for some donated items: store-bought Christmas cookies, pies, fruit and veggie trays, gift cards (Target, McDonald's, etc), clothing items, and more. For a full list of needed items, visit ChristmasWithTheVets.com. You can drop off the items or Doc will pick them up himself! To contact Doc directly, call (414) 218-3030 or email docdentice@wi.rr.com.
