Small Business Saturday is a nationwide event that shines the spotlight on the importance of small, locally owned & operated businesses. The business community in Historic Downtown Greendale is celebrating on November 30 with tons of fun in store promotions, giveaways, in-store demonstrations, autograph signings AND they are shinning the spotlight on an important community partner, The Salvation Army. Joining us to explain why Greendale is the place to be on Small Business Saturday are Anne Marie Pierce from Historic Downtown Greendale and Small Business Saturday is a nationwide event that shines the spotlight on the importance of small, locally owned & operated businesses. The merchants of Historic Downtown Greendale will match ALL donations placed in the red kettle on Broad St. on Small Business Saturday from 9:00am – 4:00pm. They also have a sticker card promotion going: for every $20.00 spent in a participating store you’ll receive 1 sticker. Earn 1 – 3 stickers and you’ll be in a drawing for prizes donated from businesses. Earn 4 -6 stickers and you’ll be placed in a drawing for a fabulous mystery prize valued at over $500.00!
