Randy Quaid Claims Hollywood Star Whackers Killed Heath Ledger

Did you know that actor Randy Quaid (Actor Dennis Quaid’s brother) and his wife, Evi Quaid are the definition of Hollywood paranoia? Randy, who was nominated for an Oscar, was best known for his Cousin Eddie character in the “National Lampoon’s Vacation” movies.

But, what many don't know about the couple is that they believe Hollywood actors and actresses are purposely being targeted by "Wackers." In 2009, the Quaids lost close friends, David Carradine and Heath Ledger. The Quaids claimed they were victims of “Star Whackers,” a secret cabal who they say are responsible for the deaths of both actors. They also believe Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan are also targets.

According to the pair, there is a group called the “Hollywood Star Whackers”. They are said to be a group consisting of Hollywood critics, lawyers and others hunting certain celebrities. Information about the Hollywood Star Whackers isn’t really available only in videos and interviews with Randy and his wife Evi themselves.

To prove their theory, the pair moved from Los Angeles, California to Vancouver, Canada, where they made a film called “Star Whackers.” It’s the story about what has been happening to them over the last few years. It may include (but may not be limited to) lawsuits, court dates, court hearings, arrest warrants, handcuffs, naked aggressive emails, family fights, on set fights, and even Randy Quaid being banned from the Actors Equity and the Screen Actors Guild.

To further enhance their theory, the couple hired Becky Altringer, a Los Angeles private eye. Altringer determined the things the Quaids claimed happened to them, like the lawsuit from skipping out on a Santa Barbara hotel bill and close friends passing around the same time, was all an elaborate plot by the duo. After filing three lawsuits in small claims against the Quaids, for non-payment of more than $15,000 she ultimately claimed there was no mob and nobody was out to kill them. Blaming the whole incident on coincidence, she believed all actors died at their own hands. When she tried to tell the Quaids what she found, they tried to claim she was lying.

So the next time you hear about the Hollywood Star Whackers just know…they aren’t coming for your favorite celebs. Randy and Evi Quaid are just going through it. But at least they have each other.
