The teachers union wants to raise taxes to get $1 billion in funding for Las Vegas valley schools. The Clark County Education Association is increasing union fees by $9 to fund the campaign. The goal is to get a tax increase on the 2022 ballot, but union officials have not said what tax revenue streams they will target.
