Shia LaBeouf’s semi-autobiographical movie “Honey Boy” looks back at his troubling childhood. According to Elle, the actor portrays his father in Alma Ha-rel’s film. The film showcases the complicated relationship between LaBeouf and his father. The actor’s father was a registerd sex offender with temper issues who controlled LaBeouf’s career. Yet the film doesn’t show present LaBeouf’s father as a shallow character but humanizes him.
