Police Detain British Rocker Pete Doherty In Drug Bust

British rocker Pete Doherty has been arrested in Paris for buying drugs, the Paris prosecutor’s office said on Friday.
The 40-year-old rocker rose to fame as the lead singer for the Libertines in the 2000s.
Doherty gained a bad boy public image due to his involvement with illicit drugs and run-ins with the police.
French media reported that the frontman was detained during an alleged drug deal in northern Paris.
