Doris Day Estate To Auction Her Golden Globes To Benefit Animal Shelter

Doris Day’s Golden Globe awards, her piano, and a collection of her gowns are among 800 items going up for auction.
The actress was one of the biggest stars in the 1950s and 1960s.
According to Reuters, the auction will be held in April 2020 and will also include her furniture, artwork, and tableware.
Day’s four Golden Globe awards are expected to fetch $4,000-$6,000 each.
All the proceeds from the auction will benefit the Doris Day Animal Foundation that the singer and actress founded in 1978.
