Providing More Support to Family Caregivers
5 years ago
28
November is National Caregivers Month, and Wisconsin is home to nearly 600,000 unpaid family caregivers. AARP Wisconsin is working with lawmakers to provide more support for these selfless people. Helen Marks Dicks from AARP Wisconsin joins us to share what a family caregiver is, what kind of chores and tasks they perform for loved ones, and what AARP is doing to try and get them more support. For more information about family caregiving and what AARP is doing in Wisconsin to help them, visit AARP.org/WI.
