October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and we are joined by two groups who are working tirelessly to end domestic violence in our area. Carmen Pitre from Sojourner and Angela Mancuso from The Women's Center are with us to discuss the warning signs of domestic violence, what to do when you observe or experience those signs, and how they work together to support survivors. If you are dealing with domestic violence, know that: You are not alone. It’s not your fault. There is help available. To contact Sojourner, call (414) 933-2722 or visit FamilyPeaceCenter.org. To contact The Women's Center, call (262) 542-3828 or visit TWCWaukesha.org.
