Mom, child discover syringe at Gillham Park playground

There are several open 311 cases dealing with homeless people sleeping around the playground at Gillham Park or trash, including broken glass and used needles, strewn about the grounds. It's a growing concern for parents and a problem for the KCMO Parks and Recreation Department.
