Coalition wants proper burial for Storm of ’28 black victims

Ninety-one years ago, the Hurricane of 1928 changed South Florida forever. Approximately 3,000 people died. Many of them poor African-Americans. Advocates say the lives lost ultimately changed how cities and counties protect residents.
