NASCAR drivers to transform Las Vegas Strip into 'Burnout Blvd'

NASCAR fans in Las Vegas will get a special treat this week. All 16 playoff contenders will take place in a victory lap down the Las Vegas Strip on Thursday at 2 p.m. local time. Fans are welcome to view the procession along Las Vegas Boulevard, including the pre-event festivities outside the Miracle Mile Shops and the burnout location at Spring Mountain, between Fashion Show and Wynn Las Vegas. The 10-race NASCAR Playoffs kick off Sept. 16 in the South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway at 12 p.m.
