UNLV making college cheaper for eligible Nevada students
The Vegas Golden Knights are trying to reach more fans around the world, and that now includes China! The team is launching 2 Chinese language social media accounts. They are now live on Weibo and WeChat. The team will post exclusive pictures, videos and content for fans who speak Mandarin. Those accounts join the 2 official Spanish language account -- Los VGK on Twitter and Los Golden Knights on Instagram -- that launched last season. The Knights are getting ready to hit the ice this week. Their first day of on-ice practice is Friday, and the first preseason game is Sunday against the Arizona Coyotes. Puck drops at 1:30 p.m. at T-Mobile Arena. Beginning next fall, program will provide grants to help offset costs of tuition, fees and books to students who qualify.
