Testimony begins in Richardson murder trial

Warren County Assistant Prosecutor Steven Knippen told the jury Wednesday morning that Brooke Skylar Richardson "murdered a baby she didn’t want and never intended to keep.” Richardson's attorneys said the Carlisle woman never intended to kill the child. Seven women and five men will decide the fate of the 20-year-old, who is accused of killing her newborn daughter days after her senior prom in 2017 and burying her in her parent’s backyard.
