Awareness, Prevention and Treatment of Postpartum Depression
Postpartum Support International’s Climb Out of the Darkness (COTD) is the world’s largest event raising funds and awareness for the mental health of new families. This is an inclusive event for moms, moms-to-be, parents, relatives, kids, family and friends. It is a place for us all to come together, support one another and fight against the effects of Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) such as postpartum depression. Joining us with the details of the event are Sarah Bloomquist, Co-Founder & Executive Director of Moms Mental Health Initiative, and Heahter Nischke, PSI Volunteer Coordinator. Climb Out of The Darkness Milwaukee is happening Saturday, September 21 at 10am, starting at The Womb Room MKE (3920 W National Ave. in West Milwaukee).
