Oktoberfest returning to Covington's Mainstrasse Village

Braxton Brewery Co. is helping an endangered neighborhood tradition by sponsoring this year's Oktoberfest in Mainstrasse Village. The German festival will take place Sept. 6-8 in Goebel Park at 501 Philadelphia St. in Covington. This year’s Northern Kentucky German festival was in doubt after its longtime organizer, the MainStrasse Village Association, filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy last year.
