The New York Store in Lancaster is celebrating 90 years

Alan Kurtzman's grandfather opened The New York Store in the village of Lancaster in 1929. In Alan's words "it's awesome". Alan's dad came into the business in 1953 and Alan and his sister Elaine followed in his footsteps. While there have been many changes in the clothing industry, The New York Store has found it's place. According to Alan "we have a great crew." The New York Store has men and women's clothing. They do their own alterations and even have big and tall sizes for men.
