Henderson police investigate robbery, shooting involving the department

Henderson police say a man is recovering at the hospital after a shooting involving the department Tuesday night. Officers responded to reports of a robbery at an area convenience store shortly before 9 p.m. Police say the suspect tried to run away from responding officers and the chase led to the shooting. The man running from police was shot in the arm, according to authorities. He is stable, No officers were injured during the incident. The shooting remains under investigation.
