Jackson County allocates $562k to help BOE with property assessment appeals

Jackson County announced Tuesday that nearly $562,000 from the 2019 Assessment Fund will be appropriated to the Board of Equalization for salary increases and possibly to hire help as it continues to navigate the fallout from a controversial property assessment process.
