Sheriff is Wrong About Roundabout

Info from Licensor: "I navigated through a roundabout on a wet road, when a sheriff pulls out in front of my 8400 lbs cargo van and stops in my path. He exits his cruiser with emergency lights on and proceeds to tell me how he should ticket me and the driver next to me, for not yielding to him. I'm wondering why he nearly causes an accident by stopping directly in front of me. My anti-lock brakes engaged, and I come to a stop merely inches from the driver's side door. The Sheriff then tells me how the traffic circle works, threatening to ticket me and the car next to me. He knew he was busted the moment he exited his car when he sees my dashcam. But his pride got in the way and he had to continue with his false narrative of roundabout rules or else look like he was actually wrong. Which he was wrong. Once in the roundabout, you have the right of way to travel around it until you need to exit. All other entries must yield to traffic in the roundabout, not the other way around. I'm just glad I reacted quickly avoiding hitting his cruiser and avoiding injuring him because he wasn't wearing his seat belt."
