fotowelt Wireless Lavalier Mic Review

I've considered getting a lapel mic for a while - as a DJ, I have an occasional need, but it's not often. I have a Shure GLXD wireless system with a handheld microphone, but had been considering adding a lavalier/lapel to the system as well for versatility. When I saw this microphone I wasn't sure if it would be able to supplement anything for DJing purposes, but I liked the idea of being able to connect directly to my DSLR or to my phone if I needed to do a quick interview or talking head segment. I was very happy to find that along with a perfect little gig case, this microphone came with a connection to be able to use it with my sound system. Again, this will be an occasional need, but I'm happy to have the option just in case.

Set up is pretty straight forward if you know how to connect cables - I really like the hot shoe attachment for the DSLR on the receiver - great touch! Feels solid and I'm hopeful for this system. Audio quality may not be the greatest, but it's hard to argue with the price tag for something that works and works well.
